About

The Suffolk Women's Land Army Memorial Trust seeks to create a permanent and lasting memorial in Suffolk to honour the women who served in the Women's Land Army and Women's Timber Corps in Suffolk during World War Two.

The memorial project will feature both a digital resource available online in the form of a roll of honour dedicated to those names known to have served in the county and a statue that will reflect our grateful thanks as a lasting tribute to all those that came from and to the county to work in the fields and forests supporting the war effort and feeding a hungry nation in times of conflict.
