Roll of Honour
We are in the process of building a database of all women we know that served in Suffolk. We would like to turn this info into a permanent ' role of honour' type resource that will be useful for anyone wanting to find out more about the Suffolk WLA.

The service records held by IWM are not sorted into counties, so our search through them is a long term activity, so any local head start we can make will help us achieve our goal all the sooner!

We would love to hear from anyone that knows of and remembers a Suffolk Land Girl so we can rightly pay tribute to their contribution to the war effort in the county as a lasting thanks that will stand the test of time for generations to come. Please do get in touch!
